课程开设的目的和预期效果：

课程主要介绍欧洲社会保障的历史与理论，通过学习，学生们可以欧洲社会保障的现状以及三种基本模式（北欧模式、中欧模式以及地中海模式）。

The lecture will provide an overview of the history and the actual status of social security systems in Europe. Lecture will show different European approaches to social security and discuss the three types of the European social Model (Nordic, Middle-European, Mediterranean). 

课程的基本简介：

本课程共计有6讲，内容主要包括欧洲社会保障的历史与理论，欧洲社会保障的模式，医疗与职业保险，退休金与失业保险，立法与司法，以及家庭政策和代际变化。

This course has 6 lectures: General introduction, History, Philosophical Aspects; Legal and economic aspects, Different approaches: Scandinavian, Middle-European, Mediterranean; Health care, Occupational accidence insurance; Unemployment, Pension schemes; European Legislation and Coordination; Family policies, Relations between Generations.

主讲人：沃尔夫冈·马泽尔，奥地利维也纳大学教授

Wolfgang Mazal, Professor, Vienna University (CURRICULUM VITAE)

沃尔夫冈·马泽尔，1981年毕业于奥地利维也纳大学，现为维也纳大学法学院教授，主要研究领域包括：劳动法、社会保障法、以及家庭研究，担任维也纳大学劳动与社会保障法副系主任、家庭研究所主任，是国际劳动与社会保障法学会的会员。曾先后出版过多本专著以及发表过数十篇学术论文，是奥地利法律期刊（ecolex）的主编。

Wolfgang Mazal graduated from Vienna University in 1981, now is the professor in Vienna University. His main research fields include: labor law, social security law, and family studies. Professor Mazal is the deputy head of the department of labor law and social security law, and director of the institute of family studies, a member of international society for labor law and social security law. He has published several books and more than ten articles, and is the editor of the Austrian Legal Journal “ecolex”.
